VIRTUAL CONSULTING
Virtual Consulting was developed from the need to deliver our work remotely due to the global pandemic. However at Lean Consulting we have found it to be incredibly beneficial. Our approach maximises value while minimises costs. Before the pandemic, it was normal for us to be on site for delivery. However, our clients have since realised remote delivery brings significant advantages.

Delivering Operational Excellence At Northern Rock
Following the nationalisation of Northern Rock, Lean Consulting were engaged in 2009 and perform a diagnostic on the organisation. Our deliverable was to identify the potential opportunities available to reduce costs.
Lean Consulting completed a process & performance diagnostic of the entire company (all functions). We delivered a paper that determined the potential cost reduction available to Northern Rock if they implemented a Lean Operational Excellence programme. We also delivered an Operational Excellence pilot which delivered £1.1M of saving in under 3 months.
Lean Consulting we then appointed to design, lead and deliver a major operational excellent programme. We successfully delivered a total reduction in the resourcing of 393.5 FTE against a target reduction of 305 FTE. This delivered an annualised cost saving of £9.51M to the business. Critically, our programme delivered on budget and on time.
